In 1988 BCC hosted the First Greater Washington Open and in 1990, the Mazda LPGA held its first one million-dollar event at Bethesda. BCC is a very tight golf course with highly undulating greens that offer some very challenging pins. Played in real life on very fast greens BCC is one of the finest Golf Courses in Maryland just down the road from Congressional CC.
