Course Description:
The 18-hole course was the site of 2012 Ryder Cup and was host to the 1999 and 2006 PGA Championship games. Ranked #1 in Golf Digest magazine's top rated golf courses in Illinois (2005), it features 7,401 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 77.1 and it has a slope rating of 149 on Bent grass. Designed by Tom Bendelow/(R) Roger B. Packard/Roger G. Rulewich, ASGCA/(R)Rees Jones, ASGCA, the Championship Course opened in 1928.
